Witness statements from Monday’s accident aboard Presidential speedboat has been taken as part of the investigation.
Police media official reported that MNDF and MPS are jointly conducting investigation into the matter and had summoned and interviewed those who had seen the event.
Saudi Government had sent a team of 9 forensic experts to investigate the matter, a few hours after calls for assistance was issued. Additionally, an FBI agent had also arrived to assist in the investigation. The Government had also appealed assistance from Australia Federal Police and India.
The Government had expressed confidence that they will be able to uncover the truth of the investigation.
