President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has established the National Integrity Commission, as stipulated in the National Integrity Commission Act.
With the ratification of the act, the Police Integrity Commission established under the Police Act (2008/5) and Customs Integrity Commission established under the Customs Act (2011/8) has been dissolved.
President had also passed to assign number 462 for the new commission, which will be used in official correspondence.
