Sheikh Ahmed Sameer bin Ibrahim has stated that those who contest their vows, after promising to do follow them, will suffer grave punishment on the Judgement Day.
Speaking in Sun TV the Sheikh said that those people will never honor their agreements and will move towards every opportunity that will yield them the best benefits for them. He said that they will not think of those who had been harmed in the process. Sheikh Sameer said that such people were motivated by greed and selfishness.
He also noted that there were many in the society with no regards to what is permitted and what is forbidden. Sheikh Sameer noted that such people will never choose national or societal development over their own interest. He also said that those people will waver in their beliefs, always shifting to the side which will benefit them the most.
Sheikh Sameer said that this aspect has been listed as one of the signs of the end times.
