Jumhooree Party Leader Qasim Ibrahim has stated that protecting the nation, nationality and religion was the biggest responsibility on each and every citizens.
Qasim said that it was extremely vital that peace and strong bonds between citizens should be cemented in order to combat such issues. He said that any patriot would not resort to assassination attempts to rise to power. He stressed that discussions and negotiations were vital aspects of resolving national conflicts.
Qasim also said that the local tourism was facing constant challenges arising from global market changes. He said that the Government was working to mitigate the level of damages sustained from such changes by introducing schemes such as SEZ and other development projects.
Qasim added that national peace and stability as vital to a resilient successful economy and ensuring that this was in place was a responsibility of all citizens. He said that he was doing exactly this and urged all to follow his lead and work towards overall success.
Qasim also added that political views, support or dislike of one individual should not overrule national pride and interests.
He added that it was imperative that the case was fully investigate and the perpetrators brought to justice, saying that delayed justice was no justice.
