“Ilm Talk” launched in Maldives
A symposium to raise awareness on Islamic values, under the title “Ilm Talk” has been launched in the Maldives.

Over 15 scholars from 10 nations are taking part in the symposium which was opened in Maldives National University auditorium. The symposium was launched by Home Minister Umar Naseer.

Officials from Saudi Embassy in the Maldives and officials of Al Azhar mission also took part in the opening ceremony. Additionally, senior officials of World Muslim Youth and the special representative of the organization’s secretary general Dr. Abdul Muhsin Al Zikry as well as representatives from Qatar, Kuwait, England and Lebanon took part in the ceremony. The Parliament Member of Islamic Affairs of Al Quds Sheikh Muhanna also attended the meeting.

The symposium will be held up to the 24th of this month.
