Saudi Minister for Islamic Affairs Salih ibn Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad Al Al-Shaykh has pledged assistance to Islamic University.
Minister Salih said that Saudi government, agencies, Islamic Ministry and Saudi citizens will lend their assistance in making the University a successful one.
He said he was pleased with the opening of the University, citing it as a success story for the Maldives. He added that this was evident that Islamic education and knowledge had taken root in the Maldivian society, which in turn will facilitate a prosperous future for the nation.
Minister Salih added that he had witnessed a vision for the new premises of the University, teachers and lecturers for the future of the University.
