This week’s Friday sermon highlighted on the importance of giving proper guidance and education to children.
The sermon said that children were a revered gift from God and as such parents have to take care and raise the children with the due accordance.
The sermon also said that parents are held accountable for their children. However, the sermon noted that some parents are negligent of their children, with their focus mainly centered on gaining wealth.
The sermon added that proper guidance and direction from parents were a birth right on every child. The sermon called on all parents to inculcate proper values and customs in their children. The sermon also appealed to all parents to take proper care of their children, even in the event of a divorce.
