Book of Condolences for late Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi opened
A book of condolences has been opened at the Foreign Ministry in memory of the late Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi, who passed away on Friday evening in a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, at the age of 79. Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon and senior officials of the Ministry signed the book first.

The Ministry says that it will remain open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

Following the death Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi - a state dignitary and recipient of the Order of Distinguished Rule of Izzuddeen, President Yameen has declared that the National Flag be flown at half-mast, from 28th November till the end of 30th November.

While his funeral was held on Saturday night at Bangkok, President Yameen delegated Defense Minister Adam Shareef Umar to attend the funeral as a special representative to the President and the government.

In his long service to the nation, the late Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi had served as Secretary at the Maldivian Representative Office in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Maldivian Representative in Sri Lanka, as the permanent consul from the Maldives to the UN and Ambassador of the Maldives to the US.
