Avid College sponsors to courses to education sector professionals
Avid College has announced that the College will sponsor two courses from the “Education in Masters Leadership Program” for professionals from the education sector.

Speaking to press in Education Ministry, Abdulla Musthaq, senior official at the College, said that the courses were given to the government to mark a decade of service for the College. He added that the courses were given so that the Government can bring forth more trained individuals to the sector.

Musthaq said that for key projects, the Government required the assistance of the private sector. He added that there were only two pre-requisites for entry into the courses.

Musthaq appealed to the Ministry to enforce the same rules applied to the Ministry courses to the Avid sponsored courses. He added that the candidates chosen by the Ministry will be admitted to the earliest possible batch of the course, even as early as coming January.

Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham thanked Avid College for the generous opportunity offered. She said that the Ministry welcomed all such efforts run by private institutions for the betterment of the country.
