President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has said the support of the public for the projects initiated by the Government was vital.
He made the statement in his address to the nation to mark the start of the New Year.
He added the budget for the New Year passed by the Parliament, will be a step forward in intensifying the development of the public.
He stated that it would instigate many development projects and be further used to bring the projects started in 2015 to fruition.
