An incinerator is to be installed in Thinadhoo.
An article posted in “Avas”, quoting Housing Ministry, stated that this project was part of the waste management projects run in the islands.
The Ministry had already announced for prospective partners to bring in and install the incinerators. Minister Dr. Muizz had previously said Thinadhoo is to be developed as an urban center and will be the focal point of many development projects.
Land reclamation of the island is already an ongoing project, with the Government conducting a host of other projects in the island.
A park is to be built in the island next year, to mark the second resettlement of the island.
