Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that the cruise liner terminal development project will be awarded to the contractor with the best proposal.
HDC Managing Director Mohamed Saiman said four parties had expressed interest in developing the terminal. He added the area will be developed as a yatch marina, with the capacity to cater to 300 yatches at the same time.
Saiman did not offer any additional details on the interested parties. Saiman said the projects will bring in a revolutionary change to the tourism sector.
