Saudi Shura Council donates US$ 1000 to the University

The Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Ibrahim bin Al-Sheikh has donated US$ 1000 to the Maldives Islamic University.

He made the donation in his visit to the University.

Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed briefed the Speaker on proceedings and the requirements for the University.

Speaking to Miadhu, Dr. Shaheem said the Speaker was satisfied with the planned projects for the University. Dr. Shaheem added that the Speaker had pledged to fulfill all the requirements for the University.

The Speaker was welcomed to the University by the Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Zahir Hussain, Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and senior officials of the University.
