Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb was brought to Male’ this morning and treated at Senahiya for an eye condition.
This is the first time Adeeb had been brought to Male’ since his October 24th arrest in connection to the explosion on the Presidential speedboat on 27th September.
His remand period had been extended by give times; all the times his remand was extended via teleconference from Dhoonidhoo detention center.
The state had filed various charges against him such as weapons possession and misappropriation of funds received from the sale of uninhabited islands.
