Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizz has stated that the opposition had failed at inventing lies, in face of rapid development engineered by the Government.
In a series of strongly worded tweets, Dr. Muizz said that policy wise the opposition had weak ground as the government had crafted and engineered development, to unprecedented levels. Therefore, he said that the opposition had no other option but to resort to cheap theatrics and slander.
Minister Dr. Muizz’s statements came at the time when the preliminary work of the China Maldives Friendship Bridge began. The project, highly controversial among the opposition, is the mega project, set to usher in development and progress.
