Ali Abdullah, local businessman and owner of Addu City Hithadhoo “Two Wave” shop, has been found murdered.
Ali Abdullah, 47 year old, was found dead in a taro field near Hithadhoo School.
He was reported missing at 8am today, after his family reported that he had not been seen after he had gone to the shop last night. His family reported that when they had gone to search for Ali Abdullah, they found that the door of the shop was damaged.
His body was discovered near a by search teams from his family and Police. Police reported that the deceased has sustained damages to his ears, his elbows were skinned and that his face was shoved into the field. However, Police said that there were no outward signs that showed that he was attacked with a sharp instrument.
The deceased has now been transferred to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital. The case is currently under investigation by the Police. Police added that the remains will be handed over to the family once all pertinent information to case is collected.
