The Oberoi group’s interest to develop a resort in the Maldives has sparked intense curiosity from the international media.
The news so far has made the news in 17 international media.
Oberoi Group has said that the company will develop a property in Maldives with Subramania Construction and Development Company, a Bengaluru real estate developer. The group also said that the agreement for the project had been signed during tourism Minister Moosa Zameer’s recent trip to India.
According to the company the property will be developed to international standards, at extra ordinary levels. The Group added that the will seek the assistance of industry experts for the development of the resort. The Group’s Executive Chairman P.R.S Oberoi said that the resort will become the flagship property in the group’s resort portfolio.
Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer had also confirmed that the agreement had been signed.
