The Government of Maldives has once again invited the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) to hold one-to-one talks on their issues of concern.
According to a statement issued by the President’s Office, the invitation was made for a meeting to be held at the President’s Office on Monday, 14th March 2016, at 1430 hours.
The all-party talks were initiated by President Yameen to facilitate a climate of sincerity, transparency and trust where all Parties can resolve their disputes and move forward.
The President’s Office said that the Government urged the MDP to put the needs of the people first and to attend the all-party talks for the betterment, development and progress of the nation.
