Maldives Demographic and Health Survey, a nationwide health survey, has begun today.
Speaking in a press conference held today in Health Ministry, Health Minister Irthisham Adam said that under survey, enumerators will visit and collect information on common ailments, common ailments for women, lifestyle and medication habits.
The survey will be conducted in 147 islands and will begin in April.
Enumerators will collect information from a randomly selected sample set from men and women between ages 15 to 49 and children under the age of five.
Health Ministry has urged all to take part in the survey.
