The MVR 7 million STO Henveyru Pharmacy has opened with a MVR125000 donation.
The 187th pharmacy of the company was opened by STO Chairman Ahmed Niya and STO Managing Director Ahmed Shaheer. In addition to pharmaceuticals some services such as PMI calculation, blood sugar measurement, dietician services and smoke inhalation information will be provided free.
Some of the services are provided once a week with the service to be increased based on demand. Additionally, Mueller brand products and medical equipment will be provided from the pharmacy.
In the opening ceremony, crona pumps were given to three thalassemia patients, blood bags to Maldives Blood Service and nicotine patches for Dhamanaveshi were donated. The donation is valued at MVR 125000. The pumps donated were smaller and portable than the pumps currently in market.
STO Henveyru pharmacy is opened at Majeedhee Magu, next to Dhamanaveshi.
