Hosted by Ooredoo & Paris Saint-Germain, the popular“Paris Saint-Germain Academy Coaching Clinic” has returned to Maldives for its exciting second season, with its first session held this morning at Henveiru Stadium.
A total of two hundred young football enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take part in the exclusive coaching clinic, which offers training and development opportunities for aspiring young footballers, under the expert guidance of Paris Saint-Germain’scoaches, Benjamin Houri and Matthieu Jean-Baptiste.
A special training session was also carried out for local coaches on Thursday, 1st June 2016, equipping them with training and development skills that will enable them to teach young players. During the coaching clinic sessions, the local coaches will further gain the experience of structuring trainings for kids with these innovative methods.
Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain began their partnership in the year 2013, with a major aspect of the partnership focusing on the development of youth and community support, with the launch of the “Paris Saint-Germain Academy Coaching Clinic” across Ooredoo’s footprint in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
The programme forms part of both Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain approach to encourage healthy lifestyles encouraging a healthy lifestyle and helping children develop their skillsets to achieve their ambitions and aspirations in sport and beyond.
