President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has launched the construction of the 25 storey National Diagnostic Center as part of IGMH
Speaking in the ceremony, President Yameen said his hope was the Center would become a state of the art center and is famed for their unrivaled standards. He added that with the completion of the bridge, the number of individuals seeking treatment from both Male’ and Hulhumale’ will rise to 130000.
President Yameen added that he wished to make the Center not just as a treatment center but also as a Center that can be used by the public for visitation as well.
President Yameen had also assured that he will seek to bring a radical change to the health sector of the nation.
The National Diagnostic Center is a MVR 140 million project initiated by the Government and is one of the biggest investments to the sector.
