A state of art cathlab for cardiac diseases and conference centers has opened in IGMH.
The Cathlab, developed in collaboration with an Indian hospital, and the national cardiac center and audio conference facility were launched by President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom.
President Yameen said that he had always prioritized on developing human resources. However, President Yameen said the public had been calling for health care and as such the program cannot be delayed to simply increase the human resource capability in the country.
President also revealed that physiotherapy and cardiology services will soon begin in association with foreign service providers.
