President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has opened the marbled Islamic Center pavilion.
Islamic Center Pavilion was opened by the President in a special ceremony held tonight.
With the opening of the new Pavilion, the center will be able to house more individuals in congregation. And the pavilion could be used for various activities.
Cabinet Ministers, leaders including JP leader Qasim Ibrahim and many members took part in the opening.
The initiative was carried out in a short period of time and spearheaded by President Yameen. Chinese Government donated over US$ 1 million for the initiative.
