Sheikh Jaufar Faiz has said that money and influence can benefit one in this world, but will amount to nothing in Judgement day, when the angels implemented God’s orders.
He made the statement delivering his sermon in the Trader’s Mosque organized by Al-Kaun TV.
Speaking in the session Sheikh Faiz said there were some who had rejected God’s hand and used influence and money to achieve all their means. He said such people saw no reason to follow God. He said those individuals had only their self-interest at heart.
In his sermon, the Sheikh highlighted the fate of the Pharaoh, who had claimed that he was God and had power over death and life. He said at the time of death, the Pharaoh himself had no power and claimed that he had believed in God.
He appealed to all to fully reflect and learn from these lessons.
