STO has released the third shipment of onions, eggs and potatoes to the market.
The price of onions is at MVR 160 per sack, while an egg case is going for MVR 275. With this shipment the prices of potatoes had been slashed; now a sack of potatoes sells for MVR 210, while it was at MVR 250 before.
These products will be available in retail from STO Supermarket and in wholesale at STO Number 6 store. Also the products will be available in STO regional outlets at the same price as Male’. The lot will be open from 9am to noon and 1pm to 3pm on all days except Friday.
STO said that the company will bring in shipments every 15 days to ensure the stock of these products do not run out and the market price is held at a stable level.
