Keyodhoo Constituency MP Moosa Nizar has stated that terrorism and extremism were not just linked to religion, adding that political extremism was also a form of terrorism.
Speaking in today’s Parliament session, Moosa Nizar said that an individual fully informed of Islam would not become an extremist.
“Islam does not allow even a small act that hurts an individual in any way,”
Sheikh Nizar said that the fear of terrorism was a real and a rising one. He appealed to halt activities that linked Maldives to terrorism and damaged the nation.
Sheikh Nizar had noted the importance of working together against terrorism.
