Gormer Finace minister His Excellency Abdulla Jihad has been sworn in as the Vice President of the Maldives.
The Vice President took his oath of office at the President’s Office at a ceremony held this afternoon.
The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice, Hon. Uz. Abdulla Saeed.
The Vice President signed the oath thereafter.
Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has been removed from his post last year after attempting to kill President and Cabinet mibisters by Bomb Blasting the Launch which they were travelling on sept 28th.
