University of West England (UWE) has stated that there were many similarities between the University and Villa College.
Speaking in the ceremony held last night to mark one year to commencement of UWE programs in Villa College, UWE Professor Donna Whiteheed said the University had a holistic approach to teaching students, gearing them to the work environment as well.
Donna said Villa College also embodied these practices, noting that similar to UWE, Villa College also sought out employment opportunities for their students.
Over 700 students are currently studying in seven programs, with the student body coming from Finance Ministry, MIRA, MACL, STO, Dhiraagu and Ooredoo.
