India and Maldives has discussed measures and efforts which can be carried out against terrorism and extremism.
The discussion was carried out between Indian Prime Minister’s Special Envoy on Counter Terrorism and Extremism Saeed Asif Ibrahim and Minister of Defense and National Security Adam Shareef Umar this morning in Bandaara Koshi. Minister Adam Shareef welcomed Saeed Ibrahim to the Maldives.
Discussions centered on the work carried out Maldives Counter Terrorism Center.
Counter Terrorism Director General Brigadier General Zakariyya Mansoor, Deputy Director General Colonel Abdu Raheem Abdul Latheef and Indian Ambassador the Maldives Akhilesh Mishra attended today’s meeting.
