Maldives Islamic University has launched their master plan for 2016 – 2020.
The plan was launched in a ceremony held in National Art Gallery by Vice President Abdullah Jihad.
The plan list key targets, outcomes and work that need to be carried out by 2020 for the University.
Vice President Abdullah Jihad said the President had attached the highest priority to fulfilling all requirements of the University, adding that he had experienced this fully during his tenure as Finance Minister.
He said the state will extend all support and assistance needed to achieve the strategic plan and appealed to the University to stick to achieving the plan.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that the University had already adopted the plan and was working towards achieving it.
