National carrier Maldivian has increased their seaplane fleet, adding in an eight seaplane, brought from Canada, to the current fleet.
Maldivian said the carrier will seek to expand fleet to 10 seaplanes by year end.
Over hundred staff are employed by the carrier, operating flights to six resorts.
