India and Maldives held discussions on developing economic and investment ties.
The discussions were carried out in a meeting held between Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, visiting Joint Secretary Renu Pal and the Indian Ambassador to the Maldives Akilesh Mishra.
Speaking to Miadhu after the discussions, Minister Saeed the discussions were successful.
He said discussions were also held on the third Maldives Investment Forum, which will be held in late August in New Delhi.
