Makunudhoo Constituency MP Anaaraa Naeem has stated that independent judicial processes were vital for independence.
Speaking in PSM’s “Barulamaanee Sallaa”, Anaaraa said that that cases have to be reviewed independently and have to do that in a free and fair manner to all.
Anaaraa said that time taken to review cases is a concerning issue.
She said that citizens will seek justice for injustices and that this was permitted in Islam as well.
She said that even the President had highlighted on the importance of reforming the judiciary adding that the process needed to implemented as soon as possible.
