President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has decreed that next Sunday will be a public holiday.
President’s Office stated that the decision was taken as many school students and Government employees attended the official events which are to end of the 30th of this month. Therefore, Sunday the 31st of this month will now be a public holiday.
Government offices and agencies will open on the 1st of August.
