Gemanafushi Constituency MP Jameel Usman has called on graduates to return home after completing their studies in order to lend their contribution to national development.
He said the nation was making excellent strides in economic and national development and as such this required the assistance, expertise and knowledge of graduates. He noted that though construction sector was the second largest sector, most of the individuals employed were expatriates and therefore, reduced the benefits of the nation.
“This can only be resolved when Maldivians get into the sector without looking at rank,”
Jameel Usman noted that nations such as Singapore was built and developed on the hard work and determination of the people.
