Medical camps review 684 patients in 11 islands
MNDF and a team of Indian doctors have concluded their joint medical camp in Ari Atoll, reviewing 648 patients in 11 islands.

This includes, 135 patients reviewed by gynecologists, 261 patients to internal doctors, 242 patients shown to pediatrics and 10 patients reviewed in emergency.

Minister of Defense and National Security Adam Shareef Umar and Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam had visited the camp and reviewed the progress. The Minister had visited the camp in Maamigili of the atoll and met with the doctors from India. He was accompanied by Male’ Area Commander Colonel Abdu Rauf.

The medical camp was held from the 2nd of this month in Thoddoo, Rasdhoo, Mathiveri, Ukulhas, Himandhoo, Feridhoo, Maalhos and Bodufulhadhoo in AA Atoll. The camp was conducted in Mahibadhoo, Hanyaameedoo and Maamigilee of ADh Atoll.
