Vice President Abdullah Jihad has thanked the Government of India for the continued assistance to the Maldives.
He thanked Indian Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra in a meeting held today in the President’s Office. The two had discussed on ways to further develop the relationship between the two nations.
India has been providing assistance to the Maldives, especially in defense, human resource building, health sector development, providing basic food stuffs and construction materials.
