International Pole and Line Foundation (IPLF) has stated that the foundation will assist in developing fisheries sector in the country.
IPLF Chairman John Burton today said that the country practiced a sustainable form of fisheries, adding that the foundation appreciated and support this.
Burton noted that the foundation was currently providing assistance in sustainable fisheries in alliance with the Government and relevant stakeholders. He commended the Government for the efforts in developing sustainable fisheries.
Dr. Shainee said that demand for local fisheries was increasing in the global market.
