Last year’s winner of the Four Seasons Surfing Championship Shane Dorian has stated that the waves of the Maldives were tempting for all surfers.
He made the statement speaking in the opening ceremony of the Championship.
Shane said that there were many opportunities open for surfers in the Maldives, adding that all his experiences in the Maldives have been positive.
The country has the potential to become a global surfing destination, with exotic surf spots. Many professional surfers had visited the country to test the waters.
