Transparency Maldives has been tasked with conducting study to strengthen the operations of ACC.
Under the MoU singed today, Transparency will research transparency commissions of 23 nations in a bid to understanding the resource usage, human resource capabilities and financial status. The report will recommend ways to ACC to improve their operations.
ACC VP Muawwiz Rasheed said that this study will determine the challenges facing ACC and ways to address those challenges.
He said the study will also reveal the work carried out by other independent institutions, adding that this will become a boost to anti-corruption activities.
