Saudi Cabinet has approved Medina University to provide assistance to develop and strengthen Maldives Islamic University and two other Universities.
The agreement on between the two Universities is on a wide range, including scholarships, teacher exchange programs and student exchange programs.
The agreement is expected to boost the Islamic University’s efforts and become recognized on an international level.
Islamic and Arabic nations have widely accepted the work carried out by Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, even during his tenure as Islamic Minister. The Saudi Maldives relations have expanded over the past few years due to the special emphasis placed on fostering that relationship.
