The first day of Scholar’s Symposium has been concluded.
The Scholar’s Symposium is organized jointly by IIIT and Maldives Islamic University and is held in Bandos. The first day of the Symposium centered on separate group sessions and a general discussion. The discussions were let by International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) Secretary General Professor Omar Kasule.
The discussions centered on education, health, social issues and natural disasters as well as the challenges facing the Islamic Centre.
Participants had also held discussions on various topics.
The Symposium will also be held tomorrow and the closing ceremony will be held tomorrow night as well.
Around 49 scholars from 10 countries are participating in the Symposium.
