MPL has placed sets of joali’s for their laborers within MPL area.
Speaking to press, MPL CEO Mohamed Junaid said that the laborers now loiter around when they do not have any work and during their break times.
He said this will bring a temporary solution to the issue but the issue will be fully resolved when the park for the laborers is completed.
Junaid added that they had filed for permits to create a park and to relocate the MWSC junction in the allotted area for the park. Junaid added that new recreational areas will allow the laborers to work in better and more dignified conditions.
