Workshop to share experience of South Korea’s taxation center with MIRA begins

An experiencing sharing workshop has begun in Male’ to share experience of South Korean taxation center with the staffs of Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).

The workshop was officially Innaugrated by the Finance Minister Ahmed Munavvar.

In this workshop, participants will learn about the taxation policies of South Korea and also problems in international taxation systems. The three day workshop will be attended by top officials from the Korean taxation center.

In the opening ceremony of the workshop, South Korean officials highlighted that the Maldives and South Korea are strengthening business and other relations. They also noted that the number of South Koreans wanting to visit Maldives are increasing.

“Number of South Koreans who want to visit Maldives are increasing. Everyone talks about how beautiful the Maldives is. A lot of people desire to spend their honeymoon in Maldives. This is one of the most beautiful countries in the world” said the South Korean delegation.
