In the event that Friday, 2nd September, is declared 1st of Zul Hijjah by the Government of Saudi Arabia, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has declared that Thursday, 15th September, will be a public holiday.
This extends the Alhaa Eid holidays, with Government offices set to reopen on Sunday, 18th September.
