Ooredoo today became the first corporate to pledge for “Partners for MvSports”, a collaborative effort between Maldives Olympic Association and local establishments to provide development opportunities to gifted young athletes.
The General Secretary of the Olympics committee, Ahmed Marzoog today passed a special baton to Ooredoo Maldives CEO Vikram Sinha, to commemorate the company’s pledge to “Partners for MvSports”. The partnershipprovides support toMaldives Olympic Committee’s Scholarship Scheme, which connects young athletes to training and development programs which further strengthens their abilities and provides them with new opportunities for success.
Ooredoo Maldives CEO, Vikram Sinha said: “Ooredoo is proud to work with key partners that share our vision of supporting human growth. Maldives Olympic Committee has continued to inspire young people to realise their potential in sports, and achieve new heights on both local and international sports arenas. Ooredoo Maldives CEO, Vikram Sinha recently participated in the #TrainingWithMvChamps Challenge, alongside a large number of prominent personalities across the nation including government and business leaders and celebrities. On behalf of Ooredoo, a token of appreciation was handed over toSecretaryGeneral of Maldives Olympic Committee, Ahmed Marzoog, for initiating this impactful challenge in coordination with top athletes of the Maldives.
