His Excellency Dr Faiz Al Abideen, the Special Advisor to the King of Saudi Arabia paid a courtesy call on the President of Maldives His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Qayoom, at the President’s office this morning.
During the call, the President welcomed the advisor to the Maldives and expressed his sincere gratitude for the continued and strengthened cooperation between the two countries. The President also thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia for increasing the hajj quota for Maldivian pilgrim this year. The discussions that followed includes exploring different areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Dr. Mohamed Asim, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, H.E Dr. Ahmed Ziyad and Minister of State for Foreign Relations at the President’s Office, Mr. Mohamed Naseer accompanied the President at the Call.
