Maldives Customs Service has confiscated drugs smuggled by a Bangladeshi man. The drugs were hidden inside his luggage.
According to Customs, the man arrived to the Maldives on 26th August via Sri Lankan Airlines. Passenger Clearance Officers noticed him acting suspiciously and then searched his luggage. They found 944 grams of cannabis from his luggage.
The man and the drugs have been handed over to Maldives Police Service now.
