MWSC has contracted Ameen Construction to build a 10 story customer service building in order to give better services to the customers. Speaking at the contractor awarding ceremony, the CEO of MWSC Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed said that the building will be constructed facing Ameeny Magu.
He further said that the first two floors of the building will be constructed within 8 months and that they will be able to provide services from that building after that. The rest of the building is expected to finish within 300 days.
Fazul said that the contract was awarded to Ameen Construction because they won the bid to construct the building via an open bidding process.
Managing Director of Ameen Construction Abdulah Mohammed assured that they will be able to finish the construction work as per the agreement. Speaking at the ceremony, the CEO of MWSC Fazul Rasheed noted, that President Yameen gives utmost priority in the development of the company.
He said that even now, work is underway to build to water plants in two locations of Male’. He also said that by 2018 the sewerage system of Male will be upgraded as well.
